Have you ever thought being a freshman was hard?

Freshman Blake Couch said, “I was not scared to be a freshman because I know most of the high school already and that they won’t make fun of me.”

But high school is different for everyone.

Sophomore Jacey Stone said she was scared to be a freshman last year, and crying, told her mom she wasn’t ready for high school.

Fear wasn’t the only motivating factor for not wanting to go to school.

Freshman Alyssa Wiley said, “I felt annoyed to go back to school.”

Stone admitted that after the first semester, she got used to high school.

Couch feels it’s a lot different than middle school because “we were at the top, now, we are back at the bottom. But, we have more freedom than the middle school; we have more rights.”

Wiley agreed, “because we’re not on lockdown 24/7.”

“It’s a lot better than middle school,” said Couch.
