Freshmen students from Miss Hendricks and Mrs. Reider’s classes went to a Romeo and Juliet play, directed by Dr. David Blakely, at Rogers State University after reading the original script. Everyone seemed to enjoy the way they acted out the famous play by Shakespeare. They were amazing at setting the scene and making it seem like it’s actually happening. It’s like you’re going back in time to the first time Romeo and Juliet was acted out. Even when the actors messed up, they found a way to fix it instantly. They even made us laugh. There are many scenes in the script, but it’s difficult to imagine it. So seeing their play changed the way I imagined Romeo and Juliet. If I could see their play again I definitely would. Their play is a must see!
