Over the years, Chouteau basketball has had a numerous amount of wins during the season. From having an undefeated season until semifinals, the boys have been working hard to keep the stride going. Tyler McMahan, a sophomore on the basketball team tells us how he thinks the season will go. “I think it will go as well as it can as long as everyone puts in a good amount of effort.” That being said, the boys will have to work together to take state this year, Tyler has complete faith the team will make it. Being a team player, he has set personal goals he hopes to meet this year, “I want to contribute to the team every way I can.” he tells us. The boys definitely have the ability to take state this year he believes. As for Tyler, he is aware that everybody has strengths and weaknesses when it comes to sports. some of his strengths include hard working spirit and inspiration for others. He says his weakness is his temper, and he hopes to control it this upcoming season. One thing is for sure, he has complete faith that they will be the “Upset Nation” once again.
