This years 2016 All-Star Game ended with a fascinating score of 196 to 173! Every year the best basketball players get together to form two teams called East and West and face off in a pickup game of basketball. Its very entertaining as all the players get to show off there talents from the shooting line and inside the paint!
The East’s starting line-up included LeBron James (Cavaliers), Paul George (Pacers), Carmelo Anthony (Knicks), Dwayne Wade (Heat), and Kyle Lowry (Raptors). The West’s included Kobe Bryant (Lakers), Kevin Durant (Thunder), Kawhi Leonard (Spurs), Stephen Curry (Warriors), and Russell Westbrook (Thunder).
In last year’s 163-158 West win in New York, Westbrook registered 41 points as a reserve and set an All-Star Game record for points in a half by scoring 27 in the first half. He also received the honor of being MVP back to back years! He now joins Bob Pettit as the only players in All-Star Game history to win twice in a row.
